One of the best things I bought this year and I cannot say enough about it. It came yesterday in the mail and it blows me away. It is one of the best collections of illustration for design I have ever seen. This book shows that some art directors have vision and can see beyond a person ability to draw a clown. Wow. Anyway check it out.

Here is why: I know people who take 134 pictures of themselves.....and they are not nice people. I love hand lettering don't get me wrong and I even like the work, but I do not think I like what lives behind the work....I'm a judger....and a bad person, but I am ok with it and I will change first thing tomorrow...if you pay me. (no more ranting, this is not live journal).

It might be time for a new scanner. I have played with all the settings and it still comes out looking washed out. The heart is supposed to be dark red purple. Anyway, these were fun.

Xactly maybe

Here are some little experiments I did recently. The cut paper one was tonight so I am a little excited. I was thinking of painting my calendar, but now I dont know. I think this cut paper thing is awesome. Thank you Holly Ormrod and other awesome inspiring artists.
