Pajamas!

card! (for no particular purpose)

More trip journal

I carved some time between two freelance projects to color two more illustrations from my trip journal. Its amazing how long this whole thing takes even though it looks so simple. Well maybe I will finish editing all the illustrations by my next vacation....

Handlebar mustache

I think its going to be a long week, but I am going to attempt to sneak in some drawing here and there.
I ride to work every day so I thought I would dedicate a little time to a the thing I wake up to every morning...the bike...not a mustache.

What, a new greeting card!

The mission was to make a birthday card with a penguin on it...
I am taking suggestions for other greeting cards: either subjects or animals that should be represented.

More trip Sketches

Thursday, September 23, 2010

I have not had nearly enough time to do dishes let alone write a post, but here is the beginning of a project I am working on. It is an illustrated journal of my trip to Europe (the illustrations were all done while I was there, but the painting is a painstaking process occurring now.) Its mainly about food and coffee....as it seems that is all I truly care about...who knew). I also have photographs that I will update as I edit them.
Additionally, I committed to the sketchbook project, which is a traveling gallery of sketchbooks done by people all over the world. I will upload those as I go. Oy.

He's got the look

The final logo for the Look Chicago thanks to the brilliance of Kevin. I did type and color swatch per his request and he did a whole lot of design magic to make it look super awesome.

Awesome fact: The Look Chicago's first client was the wife of the Prime Minister of Ireland.

Better late than never

Our recipe is up on They Draw and They Cook. It is a bit late on the update as I just returned from the EU last night. Back just in time for fall!
