book cover trilogy

This is round one of my book cover trilogy revamp. I was hitting a wall with these and my elsibell told me to just do the opposite of what I wanted to do. She said that sometimes you need to just go try something else. I know this seems pretty self evident, but I was trying so hard to make the square peg go through the round hole. After I changed gears this came together in a day. I am super excited with the result. I still have typography to tweak, but over all I am happy something is falling into place.
